Philosophy Show, Episode 4

Is lust being fed by lack or is it not? If it is, lust will be constantly threatened by the fear that the lack might become too big (because the desire is not being reciprocated), or that it might become too small, so that it lacks lack (and the weariness takes hold of the desire). The fear of lack leads to the wish to want to possess others, to devour them. Sometimes you want to be devoured yourself by others. Are there other, friendlier ways of production of lust? Photosynthetic sex? Who regulates how desire flows? Who possesses the desire? And what does Freud say about it?
